Understanding the Kingdom
Introduction
I've discover that the word of God, the Holy Bible is the believers guide to successful Christian living as a kingdom citizen?
After years of studying the Bible and apply, its life changing principles to the circumstances of life? I learned what it means to walk by faith and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 and how to achieve prosperity of spirit, soul, body, and finances by acting on God’s Word. I learned that the Word works; and because God is not a respectable person Acts 10:34 his Word can work in your life, as well.
As a guide to help the new believer get started on a lifelong journey. Leading to success, and prosperity as a follower of Jesus Christ. Even if you have not yet been exposed to the basic teachings of the Kingdom of God and Christianity. I believe you will receive a measure of the blessings from what is contained in this blog.
I encourage you to begin with the beginning understanding the gift of salvation, the King, the kingdom, and the church, (Ekklesia). Advanced to the study of the Holy Spirit, and the importance of speaking with other tongues. Then continuing studying the principles of faith. No teaching of the full gospel as we called it in the New Testament would be completed without instructions on divine healing and financial prosperity. It is God's will that His children prosper in all areas in all things and be in health just as their soul prosper according to third according to 3 John 2.
Take each blog entry and study it. Look up scriptures given in each blog, and apply what you read to your life. By doing these things you will be building on a foundation for success - spirit, soul, and body.
Understanding the Kingdom of Heaven, and the Kingdom of God.
The church has preached many things, most of them are found in the Bible, but it has not preached the gospel of the Kingdom, the reigning, the rule, and the governing of the kingdom of God, through the church (Ekklesia) His body on Earth. Notice Jesus preached the gospel of the Kingdom and He never stopped preaching the Kingdom.
The message of the Kingdom today and the ruling and reigning mandate upon the church has been put off into the future. We need to see what Jesus says. I am more interested in what Jesus says than what man, the devil, or our government says. Its seems to me to be common sense that Jesus would define what He means by the church (Ekklesia) that He is building.
What is the Kingdom of Heaven?
It is the spiritual home of Almighty God, the presence of God’s in the third heaven. Isaiah 66:1 “Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?” and Acts 7:49, “Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool;” and Revelation chapter 4.
The Kingdom of Heaven has these components:
1) A king - 2) Geographical boundaries - Territory, Domain - The territory is the domain over which the king exercises total authority. 3) Laws and commands, A constitution - is the documented words of the king, the standards and principles established by the king, himself, to guide the operations, functionality, and administration of His Kingdom. Kingdom citizens must take the necessary time and learn and obey all. The Constitution of a kingdom is how one is guaranteed access to the benefits of the kingdom. 4) A society or culture - The social culture is the environment created by the life and manners of the king and his citizens. A political government - it legislates and has standards. 5) A Code of Ethics – Acceptable conduct of the kingdom's citizens. It includes moral standards, social relationships, personal behavior, attitude, attire, and manner of life. An economy - The king is obligated to care for and protect all of his citizens, and their welfare reflects the king himself. 6) An Army – Security - The Angelic Armies of Angels are the kingdom's system of securing its territory and protecting its citizens. The angels are called the "hosts of heaven." This word host means the armies and identifies the angels as the so-called military component of the kingdom of Heaven.
What is the Kingdom of God?
The invisible divine government of God comes into a person on the earth when they receive Jesus as their own personal Lord and Savior according to 2 Corinthians 5:17, 'Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (a new heart, new spirit), and Ezekiel 36:26, "And I will give you a new heart and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." Emphasis added.
The laws of the kingdom of God's government are imbibed within the government of Almighty God and are placed in their spirit when they are born-again. They receive a new spirit (heart) with the nature of Almighty God and His government is place in their new spirit (heart). According to Hebrews 8:10, "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:" This is why Jesus said in Luke 17:21 "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the "Kingdom of God" is within you." Emphasis added.
As beleivers mature and function as kingdom citizens, willing to corporate, obey, or flow with King Jesus and carry out His wishes, the Kingdom of God government will flow through them to establish the kingdom of God on earth.
