Step 7. Return to Thanksgiving, Praise, and Worship
Example of some scriptures I like to read at the end of my Prayer Time.
The book of Psalms is the handbook on giving Thanksgiving, praise, and Worship to Almighty God.
Almighty God is my Heavenly Father, EL-Elyon The "Most-High God."
Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV), 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: My Heavenly Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give me this day my daily bread. 12 And forgive me of my debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead me not into temptation but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. The Lord Jesus Christ, JEHOVAH–ROHI “The Lord God our Great Shepherd”
Psalm 23:1-6,1The Lord is My GREAT shepherd; I shall not want. 2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord fever. Decree and Declaration of Psalm 91
Heavenly Father, I declare, and decree Psalm 91 “personalize” as a means of protection from all that sickness, diseases, plagues, virus, hurt, harm, and danger over all those that I lift up before you in the name of Jesus.
1. We dwelleth in the secret place of the Most-High; we abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2. We say of the LORD, you are our refuge and our fortress: our God; in YOU we do trust.
3. We are delivered from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4. We are covered with YOUR feathers, and under YOUR wings we trust: YOUR truth is our
shield and buckler.
5. We are not afraid of the terror by night; nor of the arrow that flieth by day.
6. Nor of the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7. A thousand may fall by our side, and ten thousand at our right hand; but it will not come near
us.
8. Only with our eyes, will we behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9. Because we have made You LORD, who is our refuge, even the Most High, our habitation.
10. No evil will befall us, neither will any plague come near our dwelling.
11. For you have given Your angels charge over us, to keep us in all thy ways.
12. Your Holy Angels bear us up in their hands, lest we dash our foot against a stone.
13. We tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon we trample under feet.
14. Because we have set our love upon YOU, YOU will deliver us: YOU will set us on high, because we know YOUR names:
15. We shall call upon You, and You will answer us; You will be with us in trouble; You will deliver
us and honor us.
16. With long life You will satisfy us and show us our salvation.
