Step 3 Praying for USA Leadership

Heavenly Father; In obedience to 1 Timothy 2:1-4; your word says…“I exhort, therefore; that; first of all; supplications; prayers; intercessions; and giving of thanks; be made for all men; For kings; and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” In ‘Jesus’ name I ask you for forgiveness of any sins that the nation of the United States may have committed against you. I ask for the healing of this nation and its land. Heavenly Father; I hold up in prayer before You these men and women who are in positions of authority. I believe that skilful and godly wisdom has entered into their heart, and knowledge is pleasant to them. Heavenly Father; I ask that you compass these men and women and make their hearts and ears attentive to godly counsel and do that which is right in Your sight. Heavenly Father; I thank you that discretion watches over them; understanding keeps them and delivers them from the way of evil and from evil men and women. I pray that the Spirit of the Lord rests upon them; In Jesus name.

Heavenly Father; in the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. I bind the devil and all his co-horts of darkness; and I render helpless principalities; powers; rulers of darkness of this world; spiritual wickedness in high places according to Ephesians 6:12 that are assigned to influence the leaders of this nation; to further the devil agenda; In Jesus name.

Local Government (State)

Heavenly Father; I lift up in prayer before you the men and women who are in positions of authority in the local government. I pray and intercede for the Governors; Lieutenant Governors; State Attorney Generals; Mayors; Judges; Policemen; Fireman and their families - The State’s legislative body and their families. (State House of Representatives; States senators)

Heavenly Father; I pray that each State will recognize that Israel is the chosen people of God and stand with them. I pray that the Spirit of the Lord rests upon those who are in authority in the local government. I believe that skillful and godly wisdom has entered into their heart; and knowledge is pleasant to them; Discretion watches over them; understanding keeps them and delivers them from the way of evil and from evil men and women. I believe You will cause them to be men and women of integrity.

Heavenly Father,

In the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ: I bind and I render helpless all principalities; powers; rulers of darkness of this world; spiritual wickedness in high places; and the devil and all his cohorts of darkness that is assigned to the (state) of ________; cities; towns and surrounding counties. I bind and pull down the strong man and cast out of the families and each individual member of these families the spirits of poverty; lack; want; greed; selfishness; automatic failure mechanism; poor memory; confusion; anxiety and any other spirits that plague families. I pray for those in the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ:I loose in the name of Jesus in The (state) of ________; cities; towns and surrounding counties and into each family and each individual member of these families the Spirit of Deliverance; Spirit of Adoption; each person’s angel; the angel of the Lord; and the perfect labors across their path ministering your word in boldness and the power of the Holy Spirit causing these families to be saved; and that your will be done in Jesus name; Amen.
